Getting Around To It!

I’m going to have to admit it now.  I’m bad at organizing my time.

Procrastination isn’t really the problem because it’s not that I want to put things off, it’s just fitting the time in to actually do the things that need to be done.

Oh, I’ve been wanting to write in this blog … I have plenty of things to write about.  It’s just that there’s always something else that manages to take up my time.

Ok, wait, playing a PlayStation game this morning instead of  writing in my blog or doing the end of the year bookkeeping stuff is actually procrastination.

So I guess I do tend to procrastinate a bit and this kinda proves that I’m full of contradictions too!

I’m going to do my best to start being more organized with my time.

I think I’ll make up a schedule and stick to it…

**Right here in this spot you should see a picture of a STICK with “TUIT” engraved into it.  I couldn’t find a picture in Google images so you’ll just have to imagine it!**

Just thinking about organizing my time is rather overwhelming.   I’d much rather hire someone to do it for me.  I wonder if someone would be willing to follow me around every day and give me suggestions about what it is that should be done next.    That makes me giggle a bit because that would probably last about 10 minutes and then I’d secretly want to shove a sock in my organizer’s mouth and shove him/her into the closet.

I think that a better idea would be to hire someone to do all the work for me!

I made a friend at the grocery store yesterday.  My new friend is 92 years old and he was out grocery shopping by himself.  His shopping cart had all kinds of goodies and he told me that this was the second grocery store he was shopping at because the first one didn’t have the mushroom caps he was looking for.

He went on to tell me that he was going home to cook dinner for his 61 year old daughter.  Stuffed mushrooms … some stuffed with crabmeat and others stuffed with sausage.  Sooo much energy for 92.

Now, I tell you, if I ever reach 92 years old and I’m of sound mind, like my new friend is, I certainly would not be grocery shopping and then cooking dinner for other people … but then again, maybe that’s why this guy is 92 and of sound mind.  He’s active, driving, cooking, and extremely friendly with strangers.  I don’t think that’s going to be me at 92.  I do tend to be extremely friendly with strangers though….and someday when I get a ROUND TUIT , I’ll tell more about how I am a magnet to strangers.

I’m going to stop rambling now!

Happy Day everyone!
