This has been so much fun. I always so much enjoy having giveaways.
The names have been selected and I’m so happy to announce the winners of the Christmas in July Giveaway!
Sue, of Stitchin Sweet Sue has won the Festive Snowman Candle Mat.
Debbie of Mosaicmagpie has won the Jingle Bells Candy Cane Shelf Pillow
And my long-time Canadian blogger friend Margaret, of The French Bear has won the Blueberry pinkeep.
Congratulations lovely ladies. I’m thrilled to be able to send these gifts to you. :)
Also, a big thank you to all who have ordered the newest pattern, The Festive Snowmen. The kits and the patterns were mailed yesterday so expect them to arrive in your mailbox soon.
A big apology goes to my sister because I gave her a rough time in my last blog post. I assumed that since she hates to sew so much that she didn’t have a needle or thread in her home. She answered the question adequately in the comments and informed us all that she does indeed own needles and thread and while she does mend her own things, her husband and kids are on their own.
I still think she uses a stapler and hot glue sometimes though …….
She also let me know that she did try to enter for the giveaway but her office computer does not always allow her to get through the commenting process. She informed the internet world, and I quote, “I do do work where I work”
All I have to say is .. Carol, we don’t need to hear about your do do .
And yes, I do finally admit that I tp’d (toilet papered)her house a long long time ago. I think it was years before she found out it was me. For the longest time I had her believing that it was her neighbor Margie that did it … I certainly wouldn’t admit it after I found out how mad she was. :)
So, I’m really well overdue for a payback. Bring it, sister!

I’ve had questions about the blueberry pinkeep and the jingle bells candy cane shelf pillow.
I won’t be offering the pattern for the blueberry pinkeep simply because it’s not my own original design. It was inspired by a discontinued embroidery design by … hmm … can’t remember the designer name right now. Even though it’s looks almost completely different from the original, I did copy the blueberry placement so it’s only fair to the original designer to not offer it up as my own.
The Candy Cane shelf pillow might be available as a mini pattern but I just need the time to do it.
My Christmas in July celebration will continue in a few days. I’m taking a little two – three day break from the internet blogging world so that hubby and I can enjoy a little vacation time away.
When I am back, I’ll be offering up all of my Christmas patterns at a special sale price and also some terrific bargains on wool kits to go with the patterns.
Every one of you ladies are just so wonderful … even the silent ones who don’t comment. :) Your support and encouragement are what keeps me here. The giveaways are just a small way to thank all of you for your wonderfulness. I even appreciate my sister’s do do!
Have a great weekend everyone!

I knew it was you that tp'ed the house. I found out a few weeks later. I starting asking around to all the neighbor's and One of the neighbors saw you doing it, but she thought it was me since we look so much alike!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your time away.

Hi Cath, enjoy your weekend away. This is my first time browsing your blog site. YOu are so talented. Can't wait to see the kits when ou get them put together. I have needle and thread here and think I can make these without doing any harm to my fingers. I think I told you my sotry about my first quilting class where I ended up in the ER with a sliced finger.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the winners of the give away. I visited the site too late to get in on it.
