I honestly started out with every intention of making butterflies the focal point of this design.
I had it drawn and the butterflies were beautiful on paper.
However, once I started stitching what I drew,
THIS HAPPENED....
The butterflies didn't make it.
I am very pleased to show you my newest design, called "Floral Beauty".

The finished size of this pretty is 12 1/2" x 14".
The yellow and orange flowers also have a layer of black between the petals which makes those colors really POP against the black background.
I actually excited to make another one using different colors for the flowers. Imagine purples & pinks or reds & purples or ....
well, there are lots of options to make this design using your favorite flower colors.
The picture shows this made with 100% wool but wool felt would work very nicely with this design.

Beautiful candlemat. I'm anxious to see it worked up in different colors. I love the way you 'thought out of the box' on the valentine candlemat. Have you ever thought about selling your patterns as e-patterns?
I do have epatterns available for some of my patterns.
