New Pattern! "Floral Beauty"

For all of you who have requested butterflies on a candle mat, let me just apologize right now.
I honestly started out with every intention of making butterflies the focal point of this design.
I had it drawn and the butterflies were beautiful on paper.
However, once I started stitching what I drew,

THIS HAPPENED....

The butterflies didn't make it.
I am very pleased to show you my newest design, called "Floral Beauty".
It is available for purchase now by either clicking the "buy now" button over there on the left sidebar or by visiting my website, http://www.cathspenniesdesigns.com  .
The finished size of this pretty is 12 1/2" x 14".

The yellow and orange flowers also have a layer of black between the petals which makes those colors really POP against the black background.
I actually excited to make another one using different colors for the flowers. Imagine purples & pinks or reds & purples or ....
well, there are lots of options to make this design using your favorite flower colors.
The picture shows this made with 100% wool but wool felt would work very nicely with this design.

The wool kit is available for this too.   CLICK HERE to visit my website to purchase the wool kit with the pattern.

If you prefer to pay by check instead of credit card, just email me cathspennies@gmail.com and I'll give you my mailing address.

Thank you ladies!

Happy Day!

Snowed

First of all, Congratulations to Sharon Joyner Griffith for winning
the Valentine Candle Mat Giveaway that I did to introduce my new Facebook page.
Thanks to all of you who participated.
I'll be doing more giveaways in the next few months.  I'm going to be spring cleaning in my wool room and there's a lot of stuff in there that needs to be cleared out!

We got about 3-4 inches of snow throughout the day yesterday.  Today is snow-clearing time.  I realize that's not a whole lot of snow, but when clearing a looooong driveway, it's a LOT of snow.

The Valentine Flowers Candle mat pattern is selling very well.  Sue, from Colorado, sent me a picture of her finished candle mat.....

I really like the black and red contrasts.

I'm sketching out a pretty Easter design.  So far it's looking good. I'd show a picture of the first drawings of it but my camera is PMS'ing today and all the pictures are too dark for some reason.
Perhaps tomorrow, I can show the drawing stages of the new design.

Happy Day everyone!  Stay warm and THINK SPRING!.. the daffodils will be sprouting before you know it!
